Volleyball Practice..

What?..what does that have to do with me and my business you ask?

Well, I'll tell you. I am certainly no volleyball player. Never was except for in gym class in high school.. but my daughter is pretty good and my son is starting to play this year.

Without getting into the whole reason I happened to be sitting in practice watching/reading a book.. I heard the coach praise one of the players after missing a ball. It wasn't like 'hey nice effort' 'keep trying'.. it was pretty specific.. what I really remember was 'you got your hands on it, but don't worry. you saw it and reacted well. But remember that play. You are going to see that again. You might not get it next time, but after you see a few more times, I have no doubt that before long you will get it. The more you see the better you'll play.'

I thought.. hmpf..

What a great parallel. Sports and business. They seem to go hand in hand quite a bit.

The more you see, the better you get. The more deals you look at, the more you know the bad ones..
from the good ones..
from the really good ones..
and the great deals.

So, as ole Robert Kiyosaki says - keep looking at deals. Look at them all the time.
