Self Confidence Formula

Here is one for you that is TIMELESS..
I am typing this one after memorizing it just as it is suggested in the book "Think and Grow Rich"..

1. I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my Definite Purpose in life, therefore, I DEMAND of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.

2. I realize the dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves into physical reality, therefore, I will concentrate my thoughts for thirty minutes daily, upon the task of thinking of the person I intend to become, thereby creating in my mind a clear mental picture of that person.

3. I know though the principle of auto-suggestion, any desire that I persistently hold in my mind will eventually seek expression through some practical means of attaining the object back of it, therefore, I will devote ten minutes daily to demanding of myself the development of SELF-CONFIDENCE.

4. I have clearly written down a description of my definite chief aim in life, and I will never stop trying, until I shall have developed sufficient self-confidence for its attainment.

5. I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice, therefore, I wil engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve others. I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me, because I will believe in them, and in myself.

I will sign my name to this formula, commit it to memory, and repeat it aloud once a day, with full FAITH that it will gradually influence my THOUGHTS and ACTIONS so that I will become a self-reliant, and successful person.

In the meantime, use it wisely my friends..

One Thing At A Time

Ever get scatter brained?
Oh I saw this, now I have to do this, meanwhile you were working on something else..
One of the reasons some people can get more done than others is they focus on the task/goal at hand before moving on to anything else.  Definiteness of Purpose.  It is one of the first things that is addressed in "Think And Grow Rich" - having a definite purpose.
There are some videos addressing this over at :
http://www.internetanswerkey.com as well.

So, as you have probably heard/read before start with that end result, work backwards to what needs done TODAY, and then take the action on the tasks that need done now to reach that end result.
Easy enough, right?
Funny thing is with this being the information age, there are so many things to distract us.  It then is a balance of what is a distraction versus what is a tool that can help accomplish the goal.  It is quite a bit easier to make that distinction with the goal/desire burned into your brain.  For some that is easier than others too..having the goal burned in..
I think I will address that next time..

PMA - Positive Mental Attitude

How far can you get with it?  A PMA.

How far can you get without it?.. A negative mental attitude.  If you never thought you could swim or ride a bike,  would you even try?  The expectation of being able to do something having seen other people do it ahead of you is part of the PMA.  The expectation on top of have the can do attitude.  They go hand in hand.

Followed by action.
You see your friends ride/swim.  You now think you can do it too.  So you jump in the pool or get on the bike.  Action.

Now.. you likely choked on some water or skinned a knee jumping right at it.  I definitely remember doing both.
However, what did you do after that?  Did you give up or try again?  It certainly could not have taken all that long with either task.  Especially with someone there for support - holding on to the back of the bike or training wheels / swimming right along with you.  I remember both being a little scary, but with some reassurance that I could do it.... that I / ME could do it, I kept trying.

Seems like a simple enough story.. but now take that ahead a few decades.  What are you trying to accomplish?
A new career?
A new home business?
You have seen others do it.  You know it can be done.  Do you believe YOU can do it?  Can you see YOURSELF succeeding?
Those are the next steps aren't they.
There is some more insight at

Until next time,
